Elizabeth was born in 1745.  Elizabeth's father was George Shepherd and her mother was Elizabeth Mary Day.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward T Shepherd and Avarilla. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Robert, George, Ann and Mary .  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 49 in 1794.
