John was born in 1762.  John's father was George Michael Eller and his mother was Anna Maria.  His paternal grandparents were George Eller and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Leonard, Jacob, George, Elizabeth, Eve, Catherine and Maria.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1840.
