Jacob was born in 1758.  Jacob's father was George Michael Eller and his mother was Anna Maria.  His paternal grandparents were George Eller and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Leonard, George, John, Elizabeth, Eve, Catherine and Maria.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 72 in October 1830.
