George Bare

George was born in 1846. George's father was Elias Lewis Bare and his mother was Lucinda Sheets. His paternal grandparents were Henry Bare and Elizabbeth Black; his maternal grandparents were Absolom Bowers and Catherine Ann Sheets. He had ten brothers and seven sisters, named Hamilton, Leander, Joseph, Abb, Absolom, Phelix, Bartlett, Hack, Harrison, Freeland, Ellen, Mary, Briget, Catherine, Margaret, Matilda and Emma. He was the sixth oldest of the eighteen children.
