Mark was born in 1772.  Mark's father was William Andrews and his mother was Hannah Holladay.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Andrew and Sarah Anders. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Laben, John, Henry, Starling, William, Archibald, Elizabeth, Patsy and Jennie.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 74 in 1846.
