Douwe BOXMA

Douwe was born on April 11th, 1869 in Bovensmilde, The Netherlands.¹ Douwe's father was Jochem BOXMA and his mother was Jantien (Jantje) ALBERTS. His maternal grandparents were Harm ALBERTS and Zwaantien (Zwaantje) WILLEMS EEFTING. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Harm, Douwe, Harm, Jacob, Annechien, Annechien, Annechien and Zwaantje. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on February 23rd, 1871 in Bovensmilde, The Netherlands.¹
