Douwe BOXMA

Douwe was born on August 5th, 1860 in Smilde, The Netherlands.¹ Douwe's father was Jochem BOXMA and his mother was Jantien (Jantje) ALBERTS. His maternal grandparents were Harm ALBERTS and Zwaantien (Zwaantje) WILLEMS EEFTING. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Harm, Harm, Douwe, Jacob, Annechien, Annechien, Annechien and Zwaantje. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on March 26th, 1862 in Bovensmilde, The Netherlands.¹
