Friedrich Karl Lauff 
Friedrich was born on March 7th, 1809. Friedrich's father was Johann Peter Lauff and his mother was Maria Elisabetha Cheis (verh. Krempel). His paternal grandparents were Johann Conrad Lauff and Maria Margaretha Born. He had four brothers and a sister, named Karl, Johann Peter, David, Jimmy? and Charlotte. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 59 on May 3rd, 1868.-
