Maurice was born in 1852 in Duoro, Ontario, Canada. Maurice's father is William O'BRIEN and his mother is Hannah LEAHY. His paternal grandparents were Maurice O'BRIEN and MARY; his maternal grandfather was John LEAHY and his maternal grandmother is Johanna TOBIN. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, James, John, Michael, Thomas Francis, William H., Mary, Agnes, Anne (Hannah), Catherine and Ellen. He died at the age of 76 in 1928.-
