Elenor KENNY 
Elenor was born on February 5th, 1856 in South Elmsley, Ontario.1 Elenor's father was Thomas KENNY and her mother was Elenor PURCELL. Her paternal grandparents were Bartholomew KENNY and Anne BREEN. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Bartholomew, James, Richard P, Edward, Anna and Mary. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 31 on July 25th, 1887 in Smith Falls, Ontario.2 General Notes
I have baptism cert showing march 26 1856 as baptism day. Sponsor was Ann Balfe and peter synott
Per St. Francis de Salle parish records, sponsors at Eleanor's baptism were Peter Sinnott and Ann Balfe. - (This may have been written wrong by the record keeper. Probably should be Robert Sinnott, who is Anne Balfes husband.)
She must have died after giving birth to James.
The 1861 census shows her name as Eliza Ann, but at the time of her birth, it was recorded at the Smith Falls parish as Elenor.
According to the Rideau Recorder, she died at the age of 30.
Cousins in Ottawa, mentioned that they had heard that their daughter Nellie had lived with one of the Hourigan's because her parents died at a young age.
