Her paternal grandparents were Frantisek JANDA and Aloysia CHMELKA; her maternal grandfather is John J. SVOBODA. She had a brother named Raphael M.. She was the younger of the two children. She died due to Parkinsons Disease at the age of 77 on August 8th, 1991 in Lincoln, Lancaster, NE.1 General Notes
The Sylers live in Blaensburg Md and when husband retired from White House
guard duty, they moved to Lincoln to be near her aunt Mary (Janda) Taylor who
was aging.

Prior to her marriage, she works as a sales clerk at the Golding and Stibal Variety store and also worked in the office of Cass county Clerk, George Sayles. on sept 19, 1958 she married Herbert R. Sylers in Washingrton D.C., who was a gaurd there. Mr. retired from the White house on Feb 28, 1971 and in July 1973 moved to Lincoln, NE to be near aunt, Mrs Mary (Janda) Taylor.
