General Hoey notes. I havent spent a lot of time reseaching the Hoey's, but have looked into things, including taking notes from Dromiskin and cemeteries near there.
James Connor stated in his bio that 4 Hoeys emegrated to North America, then to sacramento in 1867. Though some of his recolection was inacrurate, it is what we have to go on.
he went on to say Peter Hoey was unmarried. he refered to who they called "madam" married in sacramento, and left him.
Sisier Married O'Corroll, feft him. Was this sister the sames as the madam?
One Hoey left in 1896 and he was a fireman. he was 60 years old
There was a grave, (cemetery not noted in my files,) but it could have either been darver cemetery, but most likey from the main cemetery in Dromiskin. It stated:
Michael Hoey, died 21 Dec. 1904. His son, Patrick died jan 25 1906. Michaels wife was Jane, died jan 18, 1941
