Mary Helen (Marie) (Chyba) was born on August 14th, 1891 in Plattsmouth, Cass, NE.1 Mary Helen (Marie) (Chyba)'s father was SR. CHYBA and her mother was Emalie (Emma) TOMAN. Her paternal grandparents were Jacub CHYBA and Frantiska MALY; her maternal grandparents were John TOMAN and Antonia ZITKA. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John William (Chyba), Joseph M. (Chyba), Frank Frederick (Chyba), Frances (Chyba), Anne Agnes (Chyba) and Eleanor Amelia (Chyba). She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 85 on November 18th, 1976 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was buried in Holy Sepucher, Plattsmouth, NE.1 General Notes
Marie HIBER attended the Peru State Teachers College and taught in the Omaha school system for many years, teaching first grade. Info from her obituary. She never married.
Marie was the first baby to be baptized in the newly built Holy Rosary Church.
