Михаил was born in 1919 in Харьков. Михаил's father was Гецель Вовси and his mother was Фейга Моисеевна Вовси (Фаня). His maternal grandparents were Моисей Давидов and Рая. He had a brother and a sister, named Гриша and Любовь. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 20 in 1939.
