Мария was born on March 15th, 1922.  Мария's father was Шепсель Моисеевич Давыдов and her mother was Эсфирь Гиршевна Азбель (Давидова).  Her paternal grandparents were Моисей Давидов and Рая; her maternal grandparents are Гирш Азбель and Хася (Азбель). She had two sisters named Анна and Раиса.  She was the oldest of the three daughters.  She died at the age of 65 on September 20th, 1987 in Ленинград.
