Lubovj's father was David Yankel Alperovich and her mother was Raxla Abram Zimmerman (Alperovich). Her paternal grandparents were Yankel Leiba Alperovich (Jakob) and Chaya Raisa (2nd wife) (Chana); her maternal grandparents were Abracham German Zimerman (Avrum) and Xosh-Feiga Mogilevskaja (Zimerman). She had six brothers named Moisej, Eliah, Naxim, Reveka, Jakov and Avraam. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 59 on February 15th, 1968. The funeral took place in Рига, Шмерли.
