Edgard Jose's father was Eduardo Antonio Pinheiro Falcão and his mother was Cecília Breves Falcão. His maternal grandparents were Joaquim José de souza Breves (Filho) and Justina Bello de Souza Breves. He has two brothers and seven sisters, named Egberto, Antonio Eduardo, Maria da Luz, Carmem Rita, Maria Eulália, Adelaide, Maria Jose, Justina and Celia Maria.-
