Thomasina Sommers “Ina” Mouat

Thomasina, known as Ina, was born in 1842 in Stirling, Scotland.¹ Ina's father was Alexander Mouat and her mother was Janet Cunningham Sommers. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Mouat and Jean Grey; her maternal grandparents were Rev John Sommers and Janet McDonald. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Archibald, John, Alexander, George, Eliza, Euphemia, Mary, Margaret and Janet. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 69 in 1911.
