Alexandrina was born in 1890.  Alexandrina's father is Peter MacKenzie and her mother is Elizabeth Banks.  Her paternal grandparents are Peter MacKenzie and Jane Begg; her maternal grandparents are Alexander Banks and Elizabeth Banks.  She had a brother and three sisters, named Peter, Elizabeth, Jane and Maggie.  She is the youngest of the five children.
