Marianna was born on June 5th, 1880 in Fryšava.1   Marianna's father was Josef Kirchner and her mother was Marie Anna Ptáčková.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Kirchner and Vincencie Kubíková; her maternal grandparents were Antonín Ptáček and Anna Kosková. She had two sisters named Josefa and Marie.  She was the oldest of the three children.
