Kateřina was born on June 25th, 1750 in Moravské Křižánky.1   Kateřina's father was Matěj Kirchner and her mother was Terezie Kakačová.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Kirchner and Judita (Kirchnerová). She had three brothers and a sister, named František, Thomas, Paul and Rosalia.  She was the oldest of the five children.
