Pavel was born in 1727 in Moravské Křižánky.1   Pavel's father was Jan Kirchner and his mother was Judita (Kirchnerová).  His paternal grandparents were Jakub Kirchner and Mariana Czochová. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jiří, Jan, Matěj, Anna, Marina and Alžběta.  He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
