Eduard was born on March 2nd, 1876 in Krnov , Sechsstädten 13(Jägerndorf) and his baptism took place on March 3rd, 1876 in Vráclavek (Klein-Bressel).1  Eduard's father was Eduard Kirchner and his mother was Josefa Thill.  His paternal grandparents were Gottlieb Kirchner and Karolina Hanisch; his maternal grandparents were Josef Thill and Theresia Kunze.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 47 on March 7th, 1923 in Opava.2
