Gottlieb was born on May 1st, 1816 in Dlouhá Ves (Langendorf).1   Gottlieb's father was Heinrich Kirchner and his mother was Elisabeth Poppe.  He was an only child.  He died  due to Lungenlähmung at the age of 52 on July 8th, 1868 in Vráclavek (Klein-Bressel) č.21.1
