Jesse was born on September 18th, 1924. Jesse's father was Daniel B. Tanner and his mother was Bessie --- (Tanner). His paternal grandparents were Lewis Tanner and Millie J. --- (Oneil Tanner). He had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Elmer, James, Bernard, Gracie, Opal and Gladis. He died at the age of 75 on June 26th, 2000.
