Sarah was born on January 9th, 1870.  Sarah's father was Daniel Newton Rentfrow and her mother is Peggy Jane Jones (Rentfrow).  Her paternal grandparents were Eli Rentfrow, Sr. and Eliza Ann --- (Rentfrow). She had a brother and a sister, named Avery and Effie.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 92 on January 14th, 1962 in Shumway, Illinois.  She was buried at the Rentfro Cemetery.
