Nancy Lee (Staggs)

Nancy was born about 1846 in Wayne County, Tennessee.  Nancy's father was George W. Lee and her mother was Eleanor --- (Lee). She had five sisters named Janney, Polley, Dianah, Dilemey and Surfroney.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died on December 10th, 1882.  She was buried in Brush Creek Cemetery.

  She was the daughter of George W. and Eleanor Lee. She was the first wife of James Naseworth Staggs, married Aug. 27, 1865 in Wayne Co. , Tn. Their children were Sophronia J. , George W. , Joseph J., Winney, Mollie R. Staggs.
  she has no rock. James is buried between both his wives, Nancy and Sarah.
