Jacobus was born in 1780 in Andel and his baptism took place there on December 7th, 1780.1   His godmother was Jacoba Verhagen. Jacobus' father was Johannes van Waardhuijzen and his mother was Pieternella Crielaart.  His paternal grandparents were Arien Aertszn van Waardhuijzen and Hendrina de Rooij. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jan, Jan, Arien and Hendrina.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 9 on October 13th, 1789 in Andel.1
