Geertruid was born in 1707 in Sprang-Capelle and her baptism took place on August 14th, 1707 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).1  Geertruid's father was Gerrit Janszn Timmers and her mother is Dingena Aartsdr Box.  Her paternal grandfather was Jan Peterszn Timmers and her paternal grandmother is Janneke Jansdr de Loper; her maternal grandfather was Aart Geritse Boks and her maternal grandmother is Catelyn Symensdr van den Hout. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jan, Aart, Geertruid, Anna and Jenneke Johanna.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died before 1709.1
