Anna was born in October 1713 in Zevenhuizen (ZH) and her baptism took place there on October 29th, 1713.1  Anna's father was Willem Lambertszn van der Plas and her mother was Marijtje Claasdr Molenaar.  Her paternal grandparents were Lambrecht Janszn van der Plas and Claertje Willemsdr N.N.. She had three sisters named Anna, Maria and Arijaantje.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Klaartje Willemsdr.
