Marten Aarts Martenszn was born in November 1710 in Ermelo and his baptism took place there on November 16th, 1710.1  Marten Aarts Martenszn's father was Aert Marten Beerensen N.N. and his mother was Aaltje Rijkerts Lambertsdr de Mots.  His paternal grandparents were Marten Beerensen N.N. and N.N. N.N.; his maternal grandparents were Rijckert Lambertszn de Mots and Grietje Jansdr N.N.. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Aart Martenszn, Marten Aarts Martenszn, Harmen Aarts Martenszn, Dirk Aarts Martenszn, Woutertjen Aarts Martenszn, Woutertje Aartsdr Martenszn, Grietje Aartsdr Martenszn, Grietje Aartsdr Martenszn and Cornelisje Aartsdr Martenszn.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died before October 1st, 1713 in Ermelo.1
