Commera Catharina was born in September 1684 in Almkerk.1  Commera Catharina's father was David Lulius and her mother was Adriana van Son.  Her paternal grandparents were Stephanus Lulius and N.N. N.N.; her maternal grandparents were Matthijs Symonszn van Son and Christina Jansdr de Waerseggere. She had three sisters named Christina Elisabeth, Hendrina Cornelia and Elisabeth.  She was the third oldest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Theodorus, Henricus Stephanus, David, Adriana, Elselina Jacoba and Helena.  She died at the age of 78 on April 22nd, 1763 in Almkerk.1
