Helena was born on November 13th, 1714 in Hoek (Zeeland) and her baptism took place there on November 18th, 1714.1   Her godfathers were Markus de Bockx, Johan van Kerkvoort and her godmother was Helena Soeters. Helena's father was Adriaen van Luijck and her mother was Adriana de Witte.  Her paternal grandfather was Johannis Daamse van Luijck and her paternal grandmother is Levina van Kerkvoort. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Jannes, Jacobus, Willem, Jacobus, Levina, Lena, Krijna, Maria, Helena and Jacoba.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  She died before April 30th, 1717.1
