Jan Stoffelszn was born in February 1739 in Ermelo and his baptism took place there on February 19th, 1739.1  Jan Stoffelszn's father was Christoffel Janszn and his mother is Henrikje Breunissen.  His paternal grandfather was Jan Stoffelszn and his paternal grandmother is Johanna Willemsdr; his maternal grandparents were Breunis Aeltszn and Trijntje Lubbertsdr. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Breunis Stoffelszn, Stoffel Stoffelszn, Aart Stoffelszn, Johanna Stoffels, Geertje, Geurtje Stoffels and Trijntjen Stoffels.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  Jan Stoffelszn is no longer alive.
