Marinus Anthoniszn was born on November 8th, 1756 in Kloetinge (Zeeland) and his baptism took place there on November 11th, 1756.1  Marinus Anthoniszn's father was Anthonij Natanaëlszn Hoebeke and his mother was Maetje Lievensdr Soutendam.  His paternal grandparents were Natanaël Willemszn Hoebeke and Elisabeth Cornelisdr Jeremias; his maternal grandparents were Lieven Centszn Soutendam and Cornelia Pietersdr N.N.. He had eleven brothers and two sisters, named Natanaël, Lieven, Cornelis Anthoniszn, Lieven Anthoniszn, Pieter Anthoniszn, Jan, Jan, Willem, Anthonij, Cent, Anthonij Anthoniszn, Elisabeth and Cornelia.  He was the twelfth oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 31 on June 5th, 1788 in Kloetinge (Zeeland).1
