Peter was born in 1764 in Zuilichem and his baptism took place there on October 28th, 1764.1  Peter's father was Willem Hak and his mother was Maaike Blomhert.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Gijsbertszn Hak and Peterke Willemsdr Groeneveld; his maternal grandparents were Gompert Egbertszn Blomhert and Hester Fabre. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Gijsbert Willemszn, Matthijs, Gompert, Willem, Hester, Peterke, Kuinira and Adriaantje.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 67 on August 6th, 1831 in Poederoijen.1
