Anna Geertruij was born in April 1738 in Amsterdam and her baptism took place there on April 18th, 1738 conducted by Reverend Jacobus Boon.1   Her godfather was Jan Christoffel de Haas and her godmother was Margreta Elsebe de Haas. Anna Geertruij's father was Coenraat Hendrikszn de Haas and her mother was Engeltje Hubrink.  Her maternal grandparents were Gerardus Hubingh and Elisabeth Deckers. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Jan Christoffel, Jan Hendrik, Elisabeth and Elisabeth.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 54 in September 1792 in Amsterdam.  The funeral took place on September 30th, 1792 in Amsterdam (Westerkerk).1 1
