Thonis was born in 1652 in Capelle (Noord Brabant) and his baptism took place there on July 28th, 1652.1  Thonis' father was Michiel Toniszn Duijser and his mother was Teuniske Romboutsdr Leempoel.  His paternal grandparents were Anthonis Janszn Duijser and Chielken Chieldr van Helvoirt; his maternal grandparents were Rombout Anthoniszn Leempoel and Jennicken Gijsbertsdr N.N.. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Antoni Michielszn, Johannes, Aert Michielszn, Jenneke, Stijntie Michielsdr, Jenneke and Grietje.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died on August 30th, 1652 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).2
