Grietje was born in 1672 and her baptism took place on February 14th, 1672 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).1  Grietje's father was Michiel Toniszn Duijser and her mother was Teuniske Romboutsdr Leempoel.  Her paternal grandparents were Anthonis Janszn Duijser and Chielken Chieldr van Helvoirt; her maternal grandparents were Rombout Anthoniszn Leempoel and Jennicken Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thonis, Antoni Michielszn, Johannes, Aert Michielszn, Jenneke, Stijntie Michielsdr and Jenneke.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 2 on March 17th, 1674.2
