Abraham was born in 1809 in Amsterdam and his baptism took place on September 8th, 1809 in Amsterdam (RK).1  Abraham's father was Jan Doedijns and his mother is Johanna Lenerts.  His paternal grandparents were Lambertus Sijmenszn Doedijns and Elizabeth Maria Nieuwkoop. He had a brother and a sister, named Lambertus and Elisabeth Maria.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died before 1841 in De Bilt.2
