Gompert Blomhert

Gompert was born in 1731 and his baptism took place on April 8th, 1731 in Haaften.¹ His godmother was/is Jenneken Westerlaken.

Gompert's father is Johannes Philipszn Blomhert and his mother is Gijsbertje van Varik. His paternal grandparents were Philip Gompertszn Blomhert and Jenneke Teunissen van Mil. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Teunis, Gijsbert, Jan, Egbert Janszn, Gijsbertje, Maria and Jenneke. He is the third oldest of the eight children.
