WILLIAM FRANCIS was born on September 20th, 1914 in Philadelphia,Pa..  WILLIAM FRANCIS' father was FRANCIS Joseph CONWAY and his mother was LOUISA M ROTH.  His paternal grandparents are PETER CONWAY and MARY HESTER; his maternal grandfather is JOHN ROTH and his maternal grandmother was SOPHIA GEIST. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named FRANCIS J, PETER P., ALEXANDER, JAMES, THOMAS JOSEPH, JACK (EDWIN) (EDWARD J), WALTER, GEORGE FRANCIS, MARY HELEN, HELEN, ANNA VIRGINIA and SOPHIE.  He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 56 on October 19th, 1970.  He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
