John Brooksbank

John was born in 1819 in Tong, Bradford, Yorkshire and his baptism took place there on April 11th, 1819.¹   John's father was James Brooksbank and his mother was Mary Broadbent. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, James, Daniel, Mark, Anne, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ester and Alice.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
