Ester Brooksbank 
Ester was born in 1836 in Wortley, Leeds, Yorkshire.1 Ester's father was James Brooksbank and her mother was Mary Broadbent. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Joseph, James, Daniel, Mark, Anne, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
