Mark Boynton

Mark was born on November 16th, 1916 in Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Mark's father was William Ellis Boynton and his mother was Caroline Butler. His paternal grandparents were William Ellis Boynton and Martha Hargraves; his maternal grandparents were James Butler and Harriet Brooksbank. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Nellie, Gwendoline, Mary and Edith. He was the youngest of the six children. He died as a result of bronchopneumonia after a stroke at the age of 84 on April 30th, 2001 at the General Infirmary, Leeds, Yorkshire.²
