Jentilal was born on August 16th, 1932.  Jentilal's father was Maganlal Harakchand and his mother was Narmada Parmanand.  His paternal grandparents were Harakhchand Narsim [Aracchande Narcim] and Panibai [Panim Bai]; his maternal grandparents are Parmanand Dulabh and Jekor Bai Rugnath. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ramniclal, Indumati and Chandrakala. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Mahendralal, Vinodrai, Manharlal, Tarulata and Hasvanti bai.  He died at the age of 68 in 2000.
