    THE DEE RIVER RUSH. - FURTHER NUGGETS POUND.
    ROCKHAMPTON, Friday.
    Heiser and party, working on the Dee goldfield yesterday, unearthed two nug- gets weighing together 72oz. Their claim is on the right bank, just below that of Rule and party, who lately have secured three nuggets weighing in all between 70oz. and 8Ooz. There has been a large Influx of men to the rush during the past few days. The finds have created great interest. Though a largo number of men have not yet found anything, the success of the others has encouraged them.
    MOUNT MORGAN, Friday.
    The excitement over the Dee River rush continues. Yesterday Abraham Heiser, a local puiclican, and his nephew, Mark Heiser, unearthed two beautiful slugs of pure gold weighing 38oz. and 36oz. respectively, in a claim three re- moved up the creek from the old pros- pector's claim. To-day the same party secured a further 12oz. A peculiar thing is that the party hardly got any trace oí gold until they struck the nuggets. Several parties report getting various amounts of gold during the past few days. The reports are having a great effect on miners here, a large number having thrown up regular billets to go out, the expectation of further finds giving great encouragement to diggers. Tho gold runs so erratically that no distinct course can bo traced for it, which makes the uncer- tainty very great. Applicants are apply- ing already for hotel licenses at the find.
