Anne was born in 1859.  Anne's father was Unknown (Father) and her mother was Caroline Frow.  Her maternal grandparents were John Frow and Ann Towl. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, George, Emma, Ellen, Louisa , Clara and Harriet.  She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
