Celia, known as Polly, was born on August 12th, 1795 in CT.1  Polly's father was William George Deforest and her mother is Diadamia Spaulding.  Her paternal grandparents were George Deforest and Esther Nichols.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 70 in 1865 in NY.
