 4. Joseph2 Alden (John1) was born in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts aft 22 May 1627. Joseph died 8 Feb 1696/97 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 69 years of age.

He married Mary Simmons ca 1665. Mary died aft 10 Mar 1696/97.

Joseph Alden and Mary Simmons had the following children:

child 38 i. Isaac3 Alden was born ca 1667. Isaac died 24 Jun 1727 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 59 years of age. He married Mehitable Allen in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, 2 Dec 1685. Mehitable was born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts 20 jan 1664. Mehitable died aft 30 Oct 1727 at approximately 63 years of age.

child 39 ii. Joseph Alden was born ca 1668. Joseph died 22 Dec 1747 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 79 years of age. He married Hannah Dunham ca 1690. Hannah was born ca 1670. Hannah died 14 Jan 1747/48 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 77 years of age.

child 40 iii. Mercy Alden was born ca 1670. Mercy died aft 28 Jul 1727 at approximately 57 years of age. She married John Burrill in Taunton, Massachusetts, 26 Jun 1688. John died 16 Nov 1731 in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

child 41 iv. Elizabeth Alden was born ca 1673. Elizabeth died 8 May 1705 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 31 years of age. She married Benjamin Snow in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, 12 Dec 1693.

child 42 v. John Alden was born in Middleboro, Massachusetts ca 1674/75. John died 29 Sep 1730 in Middleboro, Massachusetts, at 55 years of age. He married Hannah White in Middleboro, Massachusetts, ca 1700. Hannah was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts 5 May 1681. Hannah died 5 Oct 1732 in Middleboro, Massachusetts, at 51 years of age.

child 43 vi. Hopestill Alden. Hopestill died aft 18 Dec 1753 at approximately 77 years of age. She married Joseph Snow ca 1689.
